System Shock 3 Officially Announced by Otherside Entertainment

Otherside Entertainment, a studio made up of "many" of the original developers from Looking Glass, just announced System Shock 3 tonight.

As you may expect, details on this game are incredibly light right now. You can, however, sign up for a newsletter and such over on the official teaser site for System Shock 3 (audio warning!). We'll have more details on this game, as they are announced.

  I've heard people describe games like the original Bioshock as carrying on what System Shock was doing, so i'll be interested to see what this game aims for.

Tencent Now Supporting System Shock 3 Development

The announcement comes direct from Otherside Entertainment.

Earlier in the day on May 20, Otherside Entertainment announced that development on System Shock 3 is now being supported by everyone's favorite China based mega-corp, Tencent. Yay? Is this a yay situation? Who honestly knows anymore.

Otherside Entertainment made the announcement both via Twitter and through an official statement on their website.
