Starting on October 9, which would be tomorrow for those without calendars, the PlayStation 4 will get a $50 price drop in the United States. That will bring the price down to $349.99 (USD) if you're living in the land of the free and the home of the brave.

If you're living in the land of ham disguised as bacon and maple syrup, the price drop isn't quite as significant. The new price in Canada is $429.99, or $20 less than the $449.99 price it's at now. Of course, a number of bundles actually received bigger discounts in Canada. The Star Wars Battlefront and Disney Infinity 3.0 bundles are going from $550 (CAD) to $470.

This price change looks to be a permanent one.
