Tomorrow (Wednesday), YouTube Gaming will officially launch to the public. You will be able to head to the YouTube Gaming site (or check out the YouTube Gaming app on your mobile device) and begin streaming to your friends and strangers alike.

YouTube Gaming will allow everyone to see what games are being streamed and who is streaming. YouTube claims that it will be the "go-to destination for anything and everything gaming."

Along with tomorrow's public launch, a beta launch of the service's new live streaming dashboard will also take place. This dashboard will allow streamers to hop on and begin streaming whenever they want instead of scheduling an event ahead of time. YouTube Gaming will also feature HTML5 video playback right out of the gate, something that Twitch is in dire need of. On top of this, YouTube Gaming will also allow for DVR like functionality, allowing viewers to rewind up to four hours into the past while a stream is still going on.
