Oh, by the way there's a new Tony Hawk game coming. Game Informer has a big scoop on Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5. Tony Hawk 5 promises to return the series to its roots. That means the game will have an increased focus on individual stages with their own set of goals.

In addition, the game is slated to include both competitive and cooperative multiplayer. The multiplayer will be seamlessly incorporated into the game, so that friends can jump into your session whenever they want. The ability to create and share custom skate parks online will also be included.

There are some new features coming in Tony Hawk 5, including power-ups and the ability to shoot projectiles. Don't worry too much because they are saying that these power-ups and projectiles are only going to be used for specific missions.
THPS 5, of course, brings back Tony Hawk, and he's joined by some of the series' familiar faces as well as a new generation of skaters influenced by the original titles. Skaters include, Nyjah Huston, Aaron Homoki, Ishod Wair, Riley Hawk, Lizzie Armanto, Chris Cole, David Gonzalez, Leticia Bufoni, and Andrew Reynolds.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 (THPS 5) is slated to be released later this year for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The PS3 and Xbox 360 will get a release afterwards. Be sure to hit up Game Informer for more screenshots and information.
