  • Mortal Kombat X - 15 GB Patch Released on PC

    A 15GB update was released this evening for Mortal Kombat X on the PC. The number of changes in the update? Two.
    • Optimized shaders to improve graphics performance
    • Fixed an issue to prevent replays from using up too much hard drive storage space

    As a bit of compensation for this somewhat broken PC release, they are including 10,000 Krypt Koins as a bonus the next time you start the game. This may give you like one unlock, maybe two if they're small.

        The day after the problems the game started running great for me, i'm sure it did for a lot of other people too but i doubt they will edit their negative reviews on Steam which is a bit of a shame. You'd like to think maybe that would give developers/publishers a reason to release a working game on day 1, but ironically it's probably sales which determines that, more chance for greater PC sales more attention given.

        The file size is ridiculous, i'm downloading the equivalent of Max Payne 18 times for some shader tweaks.

          I though it would be to fix it to where people couldn't mod the DLC characters to be playable.
