Live-Action Legend of Zelda Series Reportedly in the Works at Netflix

The Wall Street Journal claims that Netflix is busy working closely with Nintendo on a new live-action series based off of The Legend of Zelda.

At present, the series is reportedly still looking for a writer. So far, Netflix has described the live-action series as being like Game of Thrones but more family friendly. So you're saying we won't be seeing copious amounts of Tingle nudity? Bummer.

Netflix just really wanted to buy something.

Netflix must have had some spare cash that has been burning a hole in their pocket for a while, because it's now come to light that the streaming service was at one point interested in purchasing Electronic Arts.
