A bunch of gaming celebrities are getting in on the ALS #IceBucketChallenge, a movement that is raising money and awareness for Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), a nerve cell disease. ALS is perhaps better known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.

So far some of the notable gaming personalities to do the challenge include Microsoft's Phil Spencer, Notch of Minecraft fame, and a group from PlayStation including President and CEO of SCEA, Shawn Layden.

Some of those called out to do the challenge next include Cliffy B, Gabe Newell, Shuhei Yoshida, Reggie Fils-Aime, and more. To find out more on the Ice Bucket Challenge and how you can help raise awareness or donate money, check out the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge page.
