Nordic Games revealed their list of games that they will be showing off at gamescom 2014. You've seen a trailer for The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 above, now check out the list of games below followed by two more trailers for MX vs ATV Supercross and The Vanishing of Ethan Carter.
The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 (PC)
For fans of classic adventures, the developers at KING Art will be presenting their new masterpiece, The Book of Unwritten Tales 2, sequel to one of the highest-rated adventure games in recent years. The Critter, Wilbur, Princess Ivo and Nate return to Aventásia and once again head out on tricky and amusing adventures. Following their successful Kickstarter campaign, KING Art are bringing lots of new features to the game, including side quests and unlockable character outfits, the likes of which have never been seen in an adventure game before.

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter (PC)
For those enjoying a walk on the dark and mysterious side, The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is bound to exceed these expectations. Developers The Astronauts, known for their previous work at People Can Fly, are currently creating a riveting weird fiction thriller about the disappearance of the boy Ethan. Players shed light upon events in the role of a detective with supernatural abilities. Technically, the adventure is a graphical feast, serving to draw players even deeper into the story. And by the way, the developers recommend playing the game alone… in the dark… with headphones. Goosebumps guaranteed!

MX vs. ATV Supercross (PS3, Xbox 360)
MX vs. ATV brings the fascination of Motocross to life. Across 17 technically demanding racetracks, players take part in exciting duels against AI racers, modelled on the stars, or compete in the 12-player online multiplayer or with a partner at home in split-screen mode. A range of original vehicles, complete with faithfully replicated accessories, are available in their well-known designs, while also completely customisable to the players’ wishes. With a smart 2-stick control system, players not only complete their laps, but also perform breath-taking stunts in daredevil manoeuvres. Pure adrenaline!

All three games will be on demonstration in the business area of Gamescom from 13th – 15th August, and the developers of The Book Of Unwritten Tales and MX vs. ATV: Supercross will be on hand for questions and interviews. Nordic Games’ booth is located in Hall 4.2, number A0-52.
But wait... there's more!

Behind closed doors...
No, we're not talking about a dark room, but rather where we're showing the first details for three exciting projects to selected media partners at this year's gamescom. To be precise, we are talking about the third installment of SpellForce, a compelling mix of RTS and RPG, where Nordic Games is proud to say that we will be working with some veterans of former developer Phenomic on the new project.

Furthermore, fans of the medieval times and trade/life simulations might like to know that The Guild 3 is also on its way. Forge your dynasty and trade empire, whilst not neglecting your political and social rank in this complex, historic life-sim.

As all good things come in threes, the third novelty surfacing this year will be Aquanox. Submerging with a new livery, Aquanox - Deep Descent will take players into an underwater open-world full of trade, research, forays and action-packed fights. All this with drop-in coop mode for up to 4 players to dive into the story.
