Forza Horizon 2 has been officially revealed and is slated to come to the Xbox One and Xbox 360 this Fall. For those already worrying over the multi-gen nature of the game, don't worry too hard. It seems as though Playground Games will be working only on the Xbox One version while Sumo Digital handles the Xbox 360 version.
The Xbox One version will use the engine powering Forza Motorsport 5 while the 360 version makes use of the first Forza Horizon game engine. Playground is working closely with Turn 10 Studios on the project.
The game is slated to include "hundreds of cars", which includes the 2015 Lamborghini Huracan. Forza 5's Drivatar system is also slated to be included for Horizon 2. The game itself will take place in Southern Europe with a music festival being at the core of the game's activities.
Apparently there will be more on Forza Horizon 2 to come in the following days. For now, here is a tilted box from IGN.
