First Glimpse at the New Unreal Tournament Gameplay

It's still super early but Epic has shown off the first public view of the new Unreal Tournament game that is currently in development from Epic Games and the Unreal Engine 4 community.

Placeholder graphics, a broken scoring system, and a variety of bugs. Yep, it's certainly an early pre-alpha gameplay video!

Epic Games Pulling Online Services for Several Games in January

If you want your online Unreal Tournament fix, you better act fast.

Epic Games announced that they are shutting down online services and online servers for several of their older titles. This is being done in an effort to support only their newer Epic Online Services. Epic already started to remove the impacted titles from all digital storefronts on December 14, as well as removed the option to purchase DLC.

Company that Spends Millions on Timed Exclusives Lays Off 16% of Employees

Around 16% of all Epic employees laid off.

Epic Games is laying off around 16% of all employees, as confirmed today by Epic Games founder and CEO Tim Sweeney. This 16% comes out to roughly 900 employees that have been laid off from the company that is responsible for Unreal Engine, Fortnite, and the Epic Games Store.
