Another studio bites the dust at the hands of EA. EA has officially shut down Mythic Entertainment today. EA confirmed the news today with Kotaku.
We are closing the EA Mythic location in Fairfax, Virginia, as we concentrate mobile development in our other studio locations. We are working with all impacted employees to provide assistance in finding new opportunities, either within EA or with other companies via an upcoming job fair.
Mythic was responsible for games such as Dragon's Gate, Tempest, Dark Age of Camelot, Warhammer Online, and more. Recently, they were tasked with making the rather terrible mobile title Dungeon Keeper.
