SteamVR and Controller Updates in Steam Client Update for March 28, 2016
Valve released a substantial update for Steam today. This update includes big additions for SteamVR and the Steam Controller.
SteamVR...- Added new Desktop Game Theater support, run any of your normal desktop games and have them appear on a giant virtual screen in your headset. Any game that supports Steam Broadcast should work with this feature, some tuning of the games graphical settings may be required for the best experience.

Valve Announces 'The Lab' for VR Experiments at GDC
If you will be attending GDC next week in San Francisco, you may want to set aside some time to check out what Valve will be doing. Team Fortress 2 Update Begins Competitive Matchmaking Beta
Tonight's update for Team Fortress 2 begins the first wave of testing for the game's upcoming Competitive Mode. Invites are being sent out in waves to eligible participants, with more to come in the weeks ahead.
This update also includes updates to the Mannpower mode and includes a good number of improvements to both maps and general gameplay.

There is a post on the Steam section of Reddit by a user that claims he discovered a severe security loophole with Source Engine games.
