Review: FUSION Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One

The best feeling controller I've ever used.

Much like its FightPad sibling, the Fusion Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One is also an officially licensed product from Microsoft. That is about where the similarities end between these two drastically different peripherals. Where the FightPad is focused on just one specific genre, the Fusion Pro is built to take on all types of games.

This controller features a soft touch plastic faceplate, rubberized back, metallic accent rings, the same snap-lock USB cable from the FightPad, a 3.5mm audio jack on...

Review: FUSION Wired FightPad for Xbox One

A design blast from the past.

About a month ago, we brought you news on some new controllers coming out from PowerA. Specifically, the news was about the company's new FUSION Pro controllers and their FUSION FightPad offerings. At the same time, we were offered the opportunity to review these controllers.

Over the past month, I have put both the black FUSION Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One and the FUSION Wired FightPad for Xbox One through their paces. Of the two, I have spent far more time with the Pro controller, but you can read about that...

Review: GreedFall (PC)

A long and thrilling journey.

GreedFall is a game that filled a gaping void I did not know I had for a new action-RPG experience. Though it lacks some of the polish you would expect from a major game release these days, the game still rewards the player with fun and varied combat, complex story beats, and an overall experience that should make even the veterans at BioWare sit up and take notice. For those of you that have been on the fence about picking up GreedFall, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you did not go pick it up right now.

Blizzard Issues Insultingly Pathetic Statement About Blitzchung Suspension and Reasoning

The cowards just doubled down.

Taking a page from politicians and businesses that know late on Friday is the best time to release news that you are positively ashamed to share, Blizzard has finally issued a statement about the recent ban on Blitzchung and two Hearthstone casters.

Before we get into it all, let's just read what they have to say. Here is Blizzard's full statement as it currently appears on their website.

Despite a reduction of six months for the suspension, Blizzard is still punishing Blitzchung. The...

Layoffs Hit PlayStation Europe

SIEE had no prior knowledge of PS5 reveal.

A new report from VGC says that Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe (SIEE) is undergoing a "restructuring" of several areas at the company, including marketing and PR. VGC says that they were informed of this unfortunate news from "people with knowledge of the situation."

As if that wasn't bad enough, VGC's report says that SIEE employees were informed about when American PlayStation directors visited SIEE in their London location. Those employees who were impacted by these layoffs...

Valve is Working on Broken CS:GO Hitboxes

If you've played Counter-Strike: Global Offensive at all, you may have come across more than a few issues where your shots simply weren't registering, even if you were point blank with your gun.

You know, something a little like this:...

Latest ESEA Client Poses a Huge Security Risk

If you frequently make use of the ESEA client to play on their Counter-Strike servers, you may want to hold off on updating to the latest version. Hell, I'd go so far as to suggest that you uninstall the ESEA client right now and take your business elsewhere. Why? It seems as though the latest client gives the ESEA full administrative access to your computer. The client makes use of a kernal driver that now runs 24/7 on your machine. It has the capability to look at any file on your computer and send that information to the ESEA servers. It can be vie...

Valve Removes Payment Option from Mods and Steam Workshop Items

A few days of mass community outrage seems to have gotten through to Valve as the company has just announced they are removing the payment feature from the Skyrim Workshop.
We're going to remove the payment feature from the Skyrim workshop. For anyone who spent money on a mod, we'll be refunding you the complete amount. We talked to the team at Bethesda and they agree. We've done this because it's clear we didn't understand exactly what we were doing. We've been shipping many features over the years aimed at allowing community creators to receive a s

Steam Workshop Creators Can Now Earn Even More Money - Here's How

Do you like having loads of dosh? Of course you do, who doesn't? Don't answer that. Now, if you are someone who likes to have a lot of money, I hear tale that there is big bucks to be made by making content for the Steam Workshop.

Valve Updated the Steam Android App for the First Time in Four Years

Valve has released the first update to their Steam Android app for the first time in four years (seriously) yesterday. What's included in the update? Is it a new Material design? Is it improved speed and functionality? Does it install the mobile version of Half-Life 3? No, no, and no. All it really does is add in a setting for Steam Guard. That's. It. The app is still firmly rooted in the Android 2.2 SDK, built for the Android 2.2 operating system, an OS that came out five years ago. To put it into better perspective, Android is now up to version 5.x. ...

Tickets for The International 5 Dota 2 Championship Sell Out in 10 Minutes

Yesterday, Valve opened up the sale of tickets for The International 5 Dota 2 Championship at two separate times. The first was at 10AM PST and the second time was at 10PM PST. The $99 tickets sold out in just 10 minutes combined between the two sale periods. In the first batch, tickets were sold out in just 6 minutes. For the second batch, the tickets were gone in just 4 minutes. Last year, teams battled for a chance at the massive prize pool that surpassed $10 million (USD). I get the feeling that this year's event will be just as big, if not bigger....
