Valve just passed along word that the Steam Link app is now available for immediate download for Android devices. The iOS release is coming soon "pending further review from Apple." Still, this is a bit earlier than the anticipated May 21 release window.
The Steam Link app allows gamers to experience their Steam library of games on their Android (phone, tablet, and TV) devices while connected to the same 5Ghz network or wired Ethernet as their Steam gaming computer (PC, Linux, Mac). Initially offered in beta, the Steam Link app for Android supports Android 5.0 and features support for the Steam Controller and other Bluetooth input devices.

You can download Steam Link right now through Google Play. In addition, Valve also released an update for the Steam Controller today that enables Bluetooth functionality that will allow you to connect the controller to your mobile device.

Also, please note that this is not the Steam Link hardware device which is also made by Valve.
