The Steam Next Fest: June 2021 Edition is now on. This event runs from right now through to June 22 at 10AM (PT). This event features hundreds of playable demos, developer chats, and "oodles" of livestreams. All of this is free and is available right now through Steam.
Valve says that they have made it easier than ever before to narrow down your search for the perfect demo. They allow you to search by genre to find demos to play. You can play as many demos as you like, wishlist your favorites, and give devs feedback if you so desire.
The landing page even lets you know if games that you have on your Steam Wishlist have demos to try out. For instance, I see there are demos available for Lake, Tormented Souls, and Severed Steel from my personal Wishlist.
