I think Halo is a pretty cool guy.Halo sticker capsule CSGO

343 Industries just rolled out an update today for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Wait.

Hold on. Let's take a step back here for a second.

343 Industries released a Counter-Strike update? Yes! Well, sort of!

Today saw the release of some new cross-promotion content between 343 Industries and Valve. This new cross-promotion content adds in a Halo Sticker Capsule (pictured here) as an in-game purchasable item for Counter-Strike. Not only that, but those who own The Master Chief Collection through Steam will also get The Master Chief Collection Music Kit for Counter-Strike.

This is legit awesome. You can check out a little example of that below courtesy of the official CS:GO Twitter account.

How cool is that?

Those that own both games will get the Music Kit unlocked "after they accrue sufficient playtime."

Today's update also does some other stuff that isn't Halo related. That other stuff includes a fix for a performance bug that was introduced in the last update. It also changes a few things in the maps Cache and Studio. The full changelog can be found below.

  • Improved the process of depositing multiple items into a Storage Unit and retrieving multiple items.
