Valve has released the big 7.00 update for Dota 2 today. Dubbed "The Journey Update" this update for the Dota 2 client brings about substantial changes to the game. We're talking about new Hero Talent Trees, the addition of the Monkey King Hero, a UI overhaul, big changes to the map, and plenty more.

The full list of changes, which are far too numerous to copy here, can be found at the Dota 2 Gamepedia wiki since Valve has apparently not put them up yet(?).

I'm sure Dota 2 fans will be thrilled with this update for a little bit but will then eventually find a good number of things that need to be changed/nerfed/reverted/fixed/removed/etc. before the week is up.
