It's a launch trailer. It shows off some scenes of action, it has some voice over work, and the like. Since Black Ops 4 doesn't have a single player campaign, you really don't have to worry about seeing any spoilers here, so that's a plus, right?
However, there are still some secrets hidden in the trailer. Charlie INTEL notes that the launch trailer gives you a little look at two previously unannounced multiplayer maps.
In the trailer, starting at the 0:36 second mark and the 0:40 second mark, there appears to be new MP Maps shown in action. One of the maps appears to be along a river, while the other is with blue buildings.
They continue on to note that there still isn't clear details on how many maps there will be in Black Ops 4 at launch. At present, there seems to be 11 maps announced, four of which are old maps repurposed for Black Ops 4. Plus, there is also the Black Ops 4 version of Nuketown which will be released for free in November. So, I guess that would be five old maps and seven actually new maps.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is out on October 12. It includes the Blackout battle royale mode, competitive multiplayer, and three Zombie campaigns. The game starts at $60 (USD).
Was quite interested in the MP more than usual too, given the higher TTK... no doubt I'll get bored of the regular MP by December per the norm though.
Don't get me wrong, I like arcadey. I really enjoyed Realm Royale the couple of times I played it, but this just did not feel all that great. It didn't feel $60 great to be more precise. I haven't cared for CoD multiplayer for years now, never got into the Zombies since my regular gaming friends never get the CoD games, and without a single player campaign, I've no reason to get this one at all.
