The Call of Duty Twitter account decided to become the "Current Events Aggregate" for the time being. Undoubtedly, this is a weird social media promotion for the upcoming release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and probably a new trailer. You know that and I know that, but does everyone on the Internet know that? Of course not, which is where this could become an issue.

People tend to believe a lot of what they read on the Internet. You would think that someone at some point said, "hey, maybe this is a bad idea," but apparently not. The Call of Duty Twitter account is currently followed by 2.88 million people.

This should probably be done on the call of duty website, not a social media service where millions of people talk about their real lives.
