You have until Monday to get some faster ranks.
    Battlefield 2042

DICE just kicked off a double XP event for Battlefield 2042. From today (November 10th) through to Monday, November 14 at 10AM (UTC; 5AM ET) players will be able to earn double XP across all game modes.

DICE says that this is the first of what will be "more" double XP events coming in Season 3 and beyond.

Right now, this would be a decent time to hop into the game if you really care about your rank. As it is, I don't see how this doubling of XP is super beneficial to those just working on the Battle Pass. The amount of Battle Pass progress is largely tied to the completion of challenges. The only way this event could conceivably help the Battle Pass progress is by granting more progress to the only repeatable challenge that is based on experience earned. This repeatable challenge grants one "pip" per level, so getting new unlocks may still take a little while as each requires ten of those "pips" to unlock.

Still, a double XP weekend is a nice bonus for those playing Battlefield 2042 still and haven't hopped over to Battlefield 1 again or even Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Battlefield 2042 Review: A Battlefield in Ruins
      by Shawn Zipay
Battlefield 2042 is a shallow, feature-lacking mess of a game that appeals to neither long-time franchise fans nor newcomers.

The release of Battlefield 2042 on November 19th should have been a joyous occasion for fans of the franchise. Instead, what the world received was a broken mess of a game that has long-standing "legacy" features removed, barren maps, and a tone that was often at odds with itself. Even after receiving three major post-launch updates, there is very...

Helicopters about to be a whole lot more annoying.

If you thought taking down helicopters, especially the stealth choppers, were a pain in the ass before just you wait for Update 5.0.0 to drop for Battlefield 2042.

Update 5.0.0 for Battlefield 2042 will arrive on Wednesday alongside the launch of Season 5 for the game. This (presumably) last season for Battlefield 2042 is set to add a new map, Reclaimed, along with new weapons, gadgets, a 100-tier Battle Pass, quality...
