A new short film is coming soon.

DICE and EA were probably thinking: "How do we tell a story without having a single player story campaign?" The answer? Tell the story within the multiplayer component for Battlefield 2042. Oh, also let's make some short films based on the game that also provide some lore. A lot of games do this, including EA's own Apex Legends, so why wouldn't it also work for Battlefield?

Anyway, there is a new short film coming on August 12 for Battlefield 2042. It's called Exodus and will allow you to "witness the events that will trigger an all-out war." The film premieres on August 12 at 8AM (PT).
