    The gameplay reveal for Battlefield 2042 took place during the Xbox E3 2021 press conference as was promised.         I really hope this is worth pulling Criterion Games out of Need for Speed development for a year. It is interesting how there won't be a Battle Royale mode, so I don't know what Criterion Games' involvement will be this time. Vehicle physics maybe? Also I hope there'll be a mode to take out the opposing team's Titan again.

        Today, DICE and EA finally took the lid off of Battlefield 2042, the next installment of their popular FPS franchise.
