There are some special treats (and tricks?) in Battlefield 4 today! DICE and EA have added in at least one night version of an existing map, Pearl Market. In addition, they have also added in spooky, exploding jack-o-lanterns and some equally spooky ghosts! There's also a great little feature that transforms you into a high jumping soldier with a flaming head if you use the bomber on some maps.
But the really scary part? This is only for the CTE! OoOOoOoooOOooooo....

Or maybe in 5 they can implement some day/night cycle stuff with their fancy lighting engine. They almost did it with Dawnbreaker, just accelerate the time a bit to encompass a longer period of time per round.
Yes, people are complaining. Most are complaining that:
"They need to put resources into fixing the game!"
"They will just break other stuff when this happens."
"People will just camp and no one will play the objective."
And variations of those three. I mean, did people forget about BF2:SF? Also, so many complained about IRNV, flares, and flash lights not being useful. Well, night maps fix that.
Its not rampant complaining and everyone, but just the idea that 1 map out of 30 might be night time.
