  • Battlefield 4 is "Free" on Origin Until August 14

Battlefield 4 is the latest game to receive the Origin Game Time treatment! For those of you who forgot from last time, Game Time is a way of giving a player time limited access to a game where the clock starts when you first start playing, provided you begin playing prior to August 14 at 10AM (PT).

The amount of time for Battlefield 4? 168 hours of game time, or one full week. Or to put that another way, that's about half of my total play time in Battlefield 4, a game I've had since right around launch. Granted, I may suck, but that should give you a rough idea of just how many hours that really is.
Game Time for Battlefield 4 is the entire experience, available to play for one entire week. Go ahead, use your 168 hours of Game Time to complete the single-player campaign. Then jump into multiplayer and join your friends in 64-player warfare until the sun comes up… again and again and again. Your Game Time clock runs in real-time, whether you're in the fight or taking a break. but your progress and Origin Achievements will be saved if you want to keep your career going after your Game Time ends – buy the game and you’ll pick up right where you left off.

To get started, head on over to the Origin Game Time page and begin the process.

I'm fairly certain that you need to at least start your week of game time before the end of the day on the 14th, otherwise you won't get it.

(((, I think I've lost that deal then...

stilla-killa: Thank you very much for sharing this, Tho i already have installed game ranger but now problem is most of players don't know about game ranger and many has moved.
I quite often keep checking server status and the server I only find populated is Dethlock, which is totally unplayable for me because my pings in that server exceed 300ms which makes me kick out of server. Usually my pings range from 180-200ms.

It's only the 11th. You still have three days to start playing it.

but I've got a very slow internet and so my other friends in my area.
My downloading speed is 100kb/s. And BF4 is about 25.5 GB. In 2 days at my best, I could only download 20% of it.
It will require a whole week for me to download ....

Tho, I really wanted to try BF4 multiplayer to see if it plays well on my connection... Because BF3 has really lots of awful occasional ping spikes.

Only option I can think of is someone with fast internet activating the game trial on behalf of my origin account...
