Sega released some new merch today for the 35th anniversary celebration of Sonic the Hedgehog. The aptly named Sonic the Hedgehog 35th Anniversary Collection includes a variety of themed gear that true Sonic aficionados will love. Honestly, a lot of these items look awesome, especially that plush there.
Sega offers up a 12" statue of Sonic in the Green Hill Zone, a varsity jacket, some shirts, a hat, a plush, crossbody bag, mug, and more.
All of these items are available to purchase through the Sega Shop. Prices on the gear range from $18 for a 35th anniversary journal up to $185 for that 12" statue. The pins might be cheaper than $18, but they're not listed on the store yet.
After making his debut on the SEGA Genesis on 23 June 1991, Sonic the Hedgehog has raced through iconic video games, blockbuster films, and fan-favorite television shows. This 35th anniversary collection honors the blue blur with the following items:
