It's the summer of XBOX, at least as far as 8BitDo is concerned. The well-known peripheral maker is ready to paint Europe in translucent green with the arrival of a themed keyboard, mouse, controller, and even a numpad accessory.
First up is the Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard - XBOX Edition. Priced at €119.99 / £104.99 / $119.99 this keyboard sports the "iconic green color scheme made famous by the original XBOX console." This keyboard is officially designed for XBOX but is also obviously compatible with Windows and Android devices.
It includes 87 keys, Fn key shortcuts, Kailh Jellyfish X switches, and RGB backlighting. The ABS keycaps are double layered with a matte UV coating and support n-key rollover. You can connect this to your device of choices either via a 2.4GHz dongle, Bluetooth, or just connect it via a wired USB.
Next is the Retro 18 Numpad - XBOX Edition for €44.99 / £39.99 / $44.99. It's a numpad accessory that pairs with the aforementioned keyboard. You can either use it as a numpad or you can use it as a basic calculator on its own. It also has some built-in minigames.
Third is the Retro R8 Mouse - XBOX Edition for €59.99 / £54.99 / $59.99. Just like t he other peripherals, this one also includes the same translucent green outer shell. Sporting Kailh Sword GM X Micro Switches and a PAW 3395 sensor, this mouse can keep up with the rest of the competition. It can hit up to 26,000 DPI if you're off your rocker and includes support for polling rates ranging from 125Hz to 8,000Hz.
The mouse includes four customizable side buttons outfitted with customized functionality. Like the keyboard, the mouse can be used with a 2.4GHz dongle, Bluetooth, or wired. The battery life is said to go for up to 105 hours on a single charge and can be topped off with the included Charging Dock.
Finally, 8BitDo says that the Ultimate 3-mode Controller for XBOX - Jade is also now available in Europe. This one costs €69.99 / £59.99 / $69.99 and includes the same three connection options as the keyboard and mouse.
The controller comes with an integrated Charging Dock, support for three customizable profiles, and offers support for "interchangeable components."
The Ultimate 3-Mode Controller includes Hall effect joysticks, XBOX-style impulse triggers, and customizable button mapping, joystick sensitivity, trigger sensitivity, vibration control, and macro support through the 8BitDo software.
