NC says that Aion 2, their open-world MMORPG will release globally this September through both Steam and NC's own Purple platform. Aion 2 is already out in Korea and Taiwan where it is reportedly already a "critical and commercial success."
The global release will give players in North America, South America, Europe, and the rest of Asia access to the game. NC says that those who register for the Aion 2 newsletter will get some bonuses when the game is released.
AION 2's core experience is built around something few MMOs attempt at scale: full freedom of flight as a combat system, not as a traversal feature. Players don't just move through Atreia, they fight, fall, and rise through it. Its fast-paced combat melds precision, timing, and positioning with traditional tab-targeting into a dynamic, modern combat experience. AION 2 brings a deep set of PvE content ranging from solo and four-player dungeons to eight-player raids, where the core gameplay experience is based on mastering the game mechanics, movement, and teamwork.
