World of Warcraft Classic has a big new update today. WoW Classic is now in its Mists of Pandaria Classic era and today the "new" Siege of Orgrimmar was released. The update also adds the "new" zone, Timeless Isle, alongside five new World Bosses, the final quests for the Legendary Cloak, Proving Grounds, and more.

The Siege of Orgrimmar is a two-part raid. Players will go from what remains of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms all the way to the Horde's capital city.

The update for Mists of Pandaria Classic should be out now with the raid opening at 3PM PT. That is, it's probably live by the time you actually read this news. Blizzard kindly provided a broader overview of the Siege of Orgrimmar raid if you are about to experience the content for the first time or simply need a refresher.

The tensions stoked by Garrosh Hellscream’s arrogance have reached a boiling point with the devastation unleashed upon the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. Champions of the Alliance and the Horde must answer for Hellscream’s destruction, lay siege to his capital, and topple the ruthless Warchief once and for all!

Heroes of the Alliance and the Horde have tested their mettle against the might of the sha, the Thunder King, and each other, yet neither side could have foreseen the atrocities the Horde’s Warchief would unleash.

Garrosh Hellscream’s reckless thirst for power has unleashed horrors upon the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, once the sacred heart of the pandaren empire.
