What do LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, Forza Horizon 6, Death Stranding 2, and Subnautica 2 have in common? They were all somehow leaked ahead of their official release date.
Two days ahead of its Early Access release, Subnautica 2 seems to have been leaked online in some form of a playable state. Several images and even some gameplay clips, presumably from the PC release of the game, have been compiled on Reddit's r/GamingLeaksAndRumours by user Alleexxi.
The images compiled there were first apparently shared by Reddit user DaRealAyman in a now deleted Reddit post. This user suggests at one point that they are a tester for the game. However, in a message sent to Alleexxi, DaRealAyman claims that they were given a "build from a reviewers (sic)" and that is how they are able to play right now.
Despite the conflicting comments about how they gained access to the game, it does look like that the screens and footage shared by DaRealAyman are actually from Subnautica 2. If they did obtain a copy of the game from a reviewer, it would be the second leaked title over the past week that is being pinned on a reviewer with pre-release access. The first allegedly being the leak of Forza Horizon 6.
Subnautica 2 officially enters in Early Access on May 14 through Steam, Epic, Xbox Series X|S, and Game Pass.
