Albion Online is coming to Xbox Series X|S on April 21, 2026. This free-to-play MMORPG is developed by Sandbox Interactive. When the Xbox release happens, there will be full cross-play support with the existing PC, iOS, and Android platforms.
Albion Online is billed as a fantasy sandbox MMO where players can "forge their own path by exploring the vast landscapes, crafting everything from basic tools and clothes to armor and powerful weapons, facing enemies or other adventurers, and carving out their own pieces of Albion by forming guilds, claiming land, and making it their own."
The Xbox release will feature a new UI navigation flow, as well as a dedicated controller scheme. Features such as the Marketplace and player inventory were redesigned with controller navigation in mind. The same was done for the combat, which was overhauled to work smoothly with controllers. Several accessibility features were also developed for this console release.
If you already played Albion Online on PC or mobile, you will be able to use that same account on Xbox Series X|S and keep your same progress.
Albion Online will also receive a full visual upgrade when the Radiant Wilds update launches on 13 April, which will bring the graphics up-to-date for modern systems along with performance improvements, controller support, and a new PvP mode which will benefit Xbox players as well.
