In January 2026, World War Z will get some special campaign DLC in the form of The Walking Dead. Saber Interactive is teaming up with Paramount Pictures and AMC to add in three new story chapters featuring characters and locations from The Walking Dead. World War Z x The Walking Dead DLC arrives in January for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, Negan, and Michonne will tackle familiar locations such as the Prison, Alexandria Safe Zone, and Grady memorial Hospital in this new DLC. The "Zeke swarms" in World War Z have been transformed a bit to more closely resemble the slower-moving Walkers from The Walking Dead.
A couple of the show's actors will reprise their roles for this content. Rick Grimes will be voiced by Andrew Lincoln. Daryl Dixon will, of course, be voiced by Norman Reedus.
