The greatest weapon is you, and whatever you attach to yourself.
The image is a key art graphic for the game GRAFT, featuring a young man holding a woman with a visible organic affliction, set against a dramatic red and floral background, and includes logos for Harebrained Acquisitions and Unreal Engine.

A "post-cyberpunk survival horror RPG" named Graft was announced for Steam and the Epic Games Store. Graft is in development from Harebrained, the studio that made BattleTech and the Shadowrun trilogy.

A new trailer for Graft made its debut at the Horror Game Awards 2025, which apparently took place just last night. The new trailer shows off a bit of the "chilling" narrative as well as the immersive and dark atmosphere that await you as you try to escape a dark and decrepit space station called Ark.

Graft differentiates itself from other survival horror games in that you can tear pieces from your enemies and attach them to yourself to become more powerful. The catch here is that every graft you attach to yourself includes "some small piece of its previous owner... and now they are all a part of you." I have to assume they mean that there are some memory remnants and they aren't just talking about the obvious physical portion of the graft.

    Key Features:
    • Post-Cyberpunk Horror: Escape a continent-sized station filled with biomechanically enhanced citizens, all working toward some greater purpose lost to time.
    • Delve into a Haunting World: Master forgotten technologies and unearth secrets as you traverse yawning chasms, self-replicating labyrinths, and techno-catacombs in search of a way out.
    • A Dark RPG Experience: Form fragile alliances and build them into deeper relationships. The choices you make will shape your journey and decide the fates of those you meet.
    • Tense Survival Horror Combat: Use the tools in your growing arsenal as you fight through the horrors in a visceral new twist on classic survival horror combat. You will need to pick your battles and manage your resources carefully in order to escape the Arc alive.
    • Transform to Survive: Your changing body is your most powerful weapon. Augment it with Grafts and build out your abilities according to your own strategies. Each Graft you rip from a fallen foe or find hidden in the recesses of the Arc is one more deadly tool in your expanding arsenal.
    • A Strange Metamorphosis of Self: With each Graft, strange cravings and half-glimpsed memories flood your system. You must choose what each of these fragments means to you and live with the consequences of each choice.

Critical Consensus: Alone in the Dark
      by Shawn Zipay
Fails to live up to others in the genre this franchise helped to create.

The Alone in the Dark reboot was just released today and it seems like the reviews have placed it firmly in the realm of being merely ok but with some serious shortcomings. This release from Pieces Interactive and THQ Nordic currently sits at a 62% critical average on OpenCritic, with only 42% of reviewers recommending this new release.

Interestingly, the actual scores for this game range everywhere...

      New Destiny 2 Screenshots
      by Shawn Zipay
Hey, guess what? There was some little Destiny 2 event today. Some stuff was probably shown off like some new CG trailers and gameplay, plus some silly nonsense about the PC version being Battle.net exclusive. None of that is important (until I get those videos up later). What is important right now are these new screenshots from Destiny 2.

Enjoy these shots that you might not be able to differentiate from Destiny 1 screenshots!
