At launch, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth did offer DLSS Super Resolution support. Today, a new game update will roll out (if it hasn't already) that will add DLSS 4 support along with support for Multi Frame Generation.
Today, Nvidia also released a new driver update that is "Game Ready" for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Anno 117: Pax Romana, and Europa Universalis 5. The new driver is the GeForce Game Ready Driver 581.80 and can be downloaded from either GeForce.com or the Nvidia app.
The 581.80 driver, in addition to being "Game Ready" for the aforementioned titles, also includes performance optimizations for F1 25 when using DLSS Frame Generation and addresses a crash for Vulkan apps that launch on Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Quad CPUs.
The Intel Core 2 CPU lineup first hit the market on July 27, 2006, debuting with the dual-core Core 2 Duo. It marked a definitive end to the Pentium 4 era. Intel continued their shift to multi-core processing with the launch of the quad-core Core 2 Quad models starting in January 2007. This family of processors dominated the performance landscape until its eventual successor, the Core i-series, which began its rollout in late 2008.
The fact that there are still enough people gaming on Core 2 processors in 2025 is nothing short of remarkable. Even more remarkable is the fact that there are enough people using those CPUs to warrant a fix from Nvidia today.
Anyway, new drivers are available today. There are new games with DLSS 4 support. The rundown of those can be found below.
- FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH: At launch earlier this year, FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH included support for DLSS Super Resolution, accelerating frame rates for all GeForce RTX gamers. - The Last Caretaker: In Channel37’s The Last Caretaker, the Earth has been swallowed by the ocean as towering megastructures rust under a yawning sky. The game launches into Early Access on Nov. 6.
