  • RuneScape Raises Crafting Cap to 110

    Your grind begins again.
Promotional art featuring a RuneScape character wearing new armor and text promoting the 110 Crafting update for RuneScape.

The 110 Crafting update dropped for RuneScape today, raising the Crafting skill level cap from 99 to 110. This means that for you players, there are new materials to find, new crafting methods to learn, new rewards to earn, and "a new hands-on skilling style."

Starbloom threads are newly added to RuneScape. These magical seeds can be acquired "by pickpocketing Draynor's Master Farmers or by collecting item drops from Vilebloom monsters and Kalphite Kings." You can then harvest the Starbloom Flowers that bloom from these seeds by using your new 100 Farming Skill.

Take your seeds to the revamped Crafting Guild in the South-West of Falador, where your precious Starbloom Flowers can be processed into luxury Starbloom Cloth. Draft and tailor your material and, once completed, wear your newly crafted Starbloom Armour with pride, or put it on display at the Crafting Guild for a huge chunk of Crafting experience.
In addition to the Starbloom Magic Armor, the 110 Crafting update also adds the ability for players to craft new items: Platinum Rings, Necklaces, Bracelets, Amulets, and the new Platinum Anklet. The new Platinum Anklet is a "unique wearable item that grants greater flexibility when choosing loadout."

RuneScape 110 Crafting Update – Key Highlights:
    • Crafting Level Cap Increased: The Crafting Skill has now been extended to level 110, unlocking exciting new opportunities for fellow crafters.
    • New Skilling Mechanics to Discover: Take on a brand new crafting process within the Revamped Crafting Guild.
    • Gather Unique Resources: Collect a magical new crafting material with the Starbloom Seeds, special seeds from the Star Sprite planet, and a key element in the 110 Crafting Update.
    • A New Hands-On Skilling Style: While Drafting and Tailoring, keep an eye on the ‘Focus Window’ to avoid damaging items, from missed stitches or poor cuts. However, there's no need to worry as the conveniently named Repair Table is available to fix any mistakes.
    • Craft New Magical Armour: Craft the illusive Starbloom Magic Armour starting at Tier 85 with the option to strengthen all the way up to Tier 90.
    • Discover Brand New Rewards: Deck out your character in new jewellery that can be enchanted for a range of special effects, or equip the new platinum Anklet to increase your flexibility stat.
    • New Ways To Collect XP: The introduction of Exquisite Urns provides plenty of XP, but to craft it, players will need to travel to the shifting streams of the Everlight Cave dig site to mine Soft Porcelain Clay.
