A new trailer for Elden Ring Nightreign just dropped from Bandai Namco and it uses, for reasons I cannot even begin to fathom, the song Bring Me to Life from Evanescence. I actually thought people were joking or meme'ing about the new trailer using Bring Me to Life until I saw it for myself. Yeah, it's real. I don't know why it's real, but it's real.
I feel like I should be watching one of those horribly edited game kill montage videos or some terrible AMV from the early 2000s and 2010s. What's next? A Bloodborne 2 announcement trailer with Drowning Pool's Bodies playing?
FromSoftware's games are full of such great, original tracks that deciding to go with a 2003 Evanescence song is wholly the wrong choice. Then again, I suppose if they went with something more mundane, I wouldn't be writing as much about this new trailer right now and hitting submit on this news article where I embed it for you all to look upon in absolute shock and awe.
Anyway, Elden Ring Nightreign, the co-op focused PvE game set in the Elden Ring world will be out on May 30th. You'll probably be able to play it when you wake up on Friday morning.
