    Where we droppin', Tarnished?
Three warriors in a fantasy setting are battling a large flaming Cerberus style dog with three heads.

FromSoftware and publisher Bandai Namco released an overview trailer for the upcoming co-op PvE game, Elden Ring Nightreign. The release of Nightreign is less than a month away now, on May 30th, so you don't have long now before you and some buddies will fight for survival in the lands of Limveld.

Today's new overview trailer provides a rather general overview of what is going on with the game. It covers stuff like basic set-up for a round, and what the actual gameplay flow will consist of once you're in the game world.

Players will get to explore and fight through a game environment that will shift and change to various degrees between each run. Players will need to work together to explore, take down enemies, and tackle challenging bosses. All of this needs to be accomplished quickly because there is a ring of deadly darkness that continues to shrink the playable space.

This new trailer emphasizes cooperative play. Players will be able to "revive" teammates that have fallen in battle. The trailer also shows how important teamwork is in taking on the larger and more challenging foes. The most challenging of those foes are called Nightlords. Defeating these Nightlords is the ultimate goal of each run in Nightreign and appears at the end of each run.

After each run, players are rewarded for their performance. These rewards include Relics, which allow for you to make alterations to a class that persists between runs. Another reward type are cosmetics, some of which are outfits inspired by previous FromSoftware titles. Finally, you can find and earn Memories that offer some lore about the pasts of each Nightfarer.

Finally, the trailer offers a look at the several different character classes, called Nightfarers, that you will get to choose from. Each Nightfarer specializes in different weapon types and uses unique abilities. At launch, there will be eight Nightfarers to choose from, but the trailer only focuses on six: Wylder, Guardian, Ironeye, Duchess, Raider, and Recluse.
