PlayStation and Xbox owners will soon get to build the rollercoaster of their dreams when RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 hits modern consoles. This is a new release of the classic 2004 PC title that lets players design not just their own rollercoasters but entire theme parks. It will be out on March 20, 2025 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 added in the CoasterCam feature that allows players to "ride" their creations and other rides. There's also the MixMaster, which allows players to create firework shows synchronized to music. Of course, "peeps" are back which are the park visitors that show variation in gender and age.
Of course, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 is already out on PC and Mac via Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, and Switch.
