As part of a special presentation by Capcom today, the studio revealed that they are working on a remaster of the 2022 action title, Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny.
This remaster is in development for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Curiously, there is no word about a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S release. I suppose fans can still plan on those newer platforms thanks to backwards combability though.
Based on the minimal improvements made to the remaster of Onimusha: Warlords, don't expect too many changes for Onimusha 2's remaster. You can probably expect some modern updates such as 16:9 support, slightly upscaled texture work, and a variety of supported control methods and features.
Speaking of the Onimusha: Warlords remaster, it's currently on sale for 50% through digital storefronts such as Steam.
