  • Winners Announced for 2025 New York Game Awards

It was another big night for Astro Bot.
A small, white and blue robot with a black screen face and glowing blue eyes is holding a robotic dog with a red collar. The robot dog has a grey metallic body, blue glowing eyes, and an open mouth showing its tongue and teeth. They are standing on a grey surface with a colorful, abstract mural in the background, framed by yellow and black structures.

Last night at the 14th annual New York Game Awards, the New York Videogame Critics Circle (NYVGCC) announced their picks for the best in video games. These include the best games, the best game actors, and the best industry journalists.

The night was yet another huge one for the PlayStation 5 exclusive Astro Bot. It took home three awards, including the ever prestigious Game of the Year award. It also won for Best Music in a Game and Best Kids Game.

Recognition was given to Simone De Rochefort and Clayton Ashley during the show. The two won the Knickerbocker Award for Best Games Journalism.

Last night's event also honored Remedy Entertainment's Sam Lake with the Andrew Yoon Legend Award.
