  • Bloober Team Reveals Their First Original Survival Horror Game 'Cronos - The New Dawn'

    Bloober's first original IP in the survival horror genre.

    Bloober Team, hot on the heels of their successful launch of the Silent Hill 2 remake, just announced their first ever survival horror game. Cronos: The New Dawn is an upcoming sci-fi survival horror title, which is aiming for a 2025 release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

    In Cronos, you take on the role of a Traveler, "an agent of the enigmatic Collective with a mission to extract selected people who didn't survive the apocalypse from the past."

    A firm release date and price were not yet revealed by Bloober, but you can add Cronos: The New Dawn to your wishlist of choice.

        The official launch trailer is also now available.

        If you plunked down the extra cash for the Deluxe version of Cronos: The New Dawn, you can play the game right now ahead of its "official" release on September 5th. The extra $10 cost brings that total to just $69.99, at least on Steam, which is the going base rate for most games these days anyway. The regular version, releasing in two days, is just $59.99 (again, at least through Steam).
