This 2nd collection shouldn't be real this isn't how the games industry works, at minimum we could have been blessed with a TR4 remaster as the last of the successful Core games, but 5 is definitely considered milking the franchise and AoD is a disaster of a game releasing incomplete, there's little reason to remaster them except because it's the right thing to do :P.
Extremely curious what they do with AoD, since the remaster team is made up of devs in the TR community maybe they brought the people who were making the Definitive Edition mod on board for it, an achievement has already been dug up suggesting that could be the case, and in the trailer they use the line "time to put things right" which suggests a lot but i'll remain cautiously optimisitic, the fact it's happening at all is already unbelievable.
Another thing to note is that they've only been given 1 year to make this and they probably didn't start right away with post release support for the first collection, how much can they do in that time?
