  • Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster Digitally Released

Welcome back to Willamette Parkview Mall.

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is now available today on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. This is a remake of the original Dead Rising game from 2006 but with several new quality of life improvements and visual enhancements.

Built on Capcom's RE Engine, players once again take control of Frank "I've covered wars" West. You will deal with tons of the undead, Psychos, rescue survivors, and just try to survive for 72-hours at Willamette Parkview Mall. The game runs up to 4K resolutions with 60FPS (on consoles). There are also new costumes, added voice lines, better controls, and more.

If you feel like waiting a bit, a physical release of the game will be out on November 8, 2024 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

If you’ve been trapped in a shopping mall for the last 18 years, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster introduces freelance photojournalist Frank West as he ventures to Willamette, Colorado after overhearing there is something unnatural going on in town. Frank soon finds out he is in the middle of a zombie takeover and has to survive for 72 hours! Whether players simply choose to survive or opt to take on the challenge of uncovering the truth about the outbreak is entirely up to them!

Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster also brings a horde of new features to the zombie paradise action, including:
    • Improved Graphics: Experience Willamette Parkview Mall being overrun by hordes of zombies like never before in up to 4K resolution with a 60 FPS frame rate!
    • Updated Character Models: Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster introduces new, high-end character modeling for Frank West, the unhinged Psychopaths, NPCs like Brad, Jessie, Isabela, and the beloved Madonna, survivors of the outbreak, and the seemingly endless waves of zombies!
    • Expanded Language Support!: For the first time ever, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster comes fully packed with voiceovers for all characters in nine different languages, including English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Castilian Spanish, and Russian! The game will also have subtitles across 14 languages, including the aforementioned nine, plus Korean, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Polish, and Arabic*!
    • 3, 2, 1…Cheese!: Various photo filters like Black and White, Sepia, Vintage, Pixel Art, and more have been added to the game’s photo feature so players can flex their creative muscles as the best zombie-hunting photojournalist in the biz.
    • Quality-of-(Undead) Life Improvements: Move while aiming! Customize your action shots! Auto-save! And a ton more!
The Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster Digital Deluxe Edition (say that three times fast!) comes with 17 wacky Frank West costumes like Licker, Mega Man, and Ashley Graham just to name a few, as well as 17 BGM tracks that can be played throughout the shopping mall.

I'm waiting to see if fans are making a remaster of the remaster :P, putting back in what they removed, giving Frank a more DR1-like appearance.
That is if the DRM and Capcom don't prevent them.

There is already an OG Frank skin in the game.
