The initial batch of actors confirmed for the upcoming Among Us animated series had a big reveal today. The first voice cast members were revealed by CBS, the studio that has been working on this series since at least June 2023. CBS Eye Animation Productions is working alongside developer Innersloth on this adaptation.
The first teaser image from the show was shared in January 2024, which you can see above.
Randall Park (Fresh Off the Boat), Yvette Nicole Brown (Community), Ashley Johnson (The Last of Us), and Elijah Wood (Wilfred) will all voice characters in this animated adaptation of the social deception video game of the same name. Among Us, in game form, really took off during the height of COVID when social interactions were at an all-time low. It became one of the most watched games on Twitch for a long while, with some sales estimates surpassing 20 million copies sold just for the Steam version alone.
The Among Us animated show will have Owen Dennis as the creator and executive producer. Titmouse is the animation studio for the series. Titmouse is perhaps best known for their work on Star Trek: Lower Decks. The show will seemingly stick to the core premise of the game.
Members of your crew have been replaced by an alien shapeshifter intent on causing confusion, sabotaging the ship, and killing everyone. Root out the ‘Impostor' or fall victim to its murderous designs.
