A new look at the upcoming second DLC for Atomic Heart was just shared by developer Mundfish and publisher Focus Entertainment. This second DLC will be out on February 6, 2024 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
This DLC is aptly named "Trapped in Limbo" as it will take players back to the colorful and bizarre world of Limbo. Here, players will have to solve new mysteries and fight a variety of foes in order to make their way out back to the land of the living. New enemies, new weapon appearances, and "a host of exciting revelations" await players.
Trapped in Limbo will be included for those that own the Atomic Pass. If you don't own either the Atomic Pass or even Atomic Heart itself, you can pick them up for up to 50% off this week on PlayStation, Xbox, or Steam.
Also, don't be fooled by the screenshots here, this is still the game with the weirdly horny vending machine.

Atomic Heart's "Trapped in Limbo" DLC picks the story up immediately after the end of the main game, this time continuing a different ending from the one that the "Annihilation Instinct" DLC followed. It introduces new sections of the twisted Limbo world bursting with fan-favorite challenges, but this time with a unique Limbo flavor! While diving into this wild new gameplay, players will be tasked with helping P-3 break through a series of dizzying obstacles, uncover the secrets of his past and the world of Limbo, and demolish unique-looking opponents with marvelous weapons in a combat extravaganza. In order to rise from the depths of Limbo to the top and free P-3’s mind from his demons, players will have to do everything they can to overcome the changed rules of the game. The "Trapped in Limbo" DLC holds the key to finding out the fate of Major P-3, and it is up to players to survive in this enigmatic world with inverted logic.
As they fight, run, jump and slide across the platforms, players will be collecting apples to unlock skills and weapons, as well as gold coins to unlock up to seven unique skins that can be equipped in the main campaign!​
