NACON just announced their new Revolution 5 Pro controller, an officially licensed PlayStation controller that is compatible with PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
The Revolution 5 Pro includes a number of added features not found on first-party DualSense controllers. First and foremost is the inclusion of Hall Effect technology in both the analog sticks and the triggers. The trigger accuation point can also be shortened so that it activates without the need of a full pull. There is also support for Bluetooth connectivity to your wireless headset while being wirelessly connected to your console. The d-pad was developed in partnership with pro gamer Mister Crimson.
There is also support for up to 4 custom profiles per platform, 3 sets of weights, 3 stick sizes, 3 stick heads, and 1 external microphone jack. On the PC or Mac, there is a dedicated application that allows for software customization options. NACON says that this controller can be used for more than 10 hours before needing a recharge.
The Revolution 5 Pro is slated to be out December 2023 for a suggested price of $199.99 (USD). Pre-orders will begin going live this November at retailers such as Best Buy and GameStop.
