Person in spacesuit with the title The Expanse: A Telltale Series.

The Expanse: A Telltale Series is now available, marking the first release of Telltale since it was reformed back in 2019. The first episode for The Expanse is out now starting at $39.99 (USD) on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and on PC via the Epic Games Store.

The events within this episodic series take place prior to the events of the television series of the same name. You play as Camina Drummer, portrayed by actress Cara Gee in both the game and TV series. Drummer is the executive officer of a scavenger crew searching for a mysterious treasure on the edges of The Belt.

As you play through The Expanse, you will encounter and deal with plenty of powerful personalities, go up against a bloody mutiny, explore locations beyond the Belt, and yes, make decision that will decide the fate of the crew of The Artemis.

"The Deck Nine team put so much of themselves into this game because we are huge Expanse fans,” said Stephan Frost, Game Director at Deck Nine. “We wanted to make a game that felt like playing an episode of the TV show with a character we love. Working with Cara Gee, Telltale, and Alcon has been an amazing experience and we hope you come to love these characters as you walk in Drummer's magboots throughout the game."
There will be new episodes released at a rate of one every two weeks. There are four additional episodes coming after today's first episode. There's also the Archangel bonus episode coming later for Deluxe Edition ($44.99) owners or as a separate purchase.
