They will be some of the first officially licensed Xbox gamepads with Hall-effect sensors.

If you ever experienced stick drift on any of your gamepads over the years, you know just how annoying it can be. Thankfully, peripheral designer and manufacturer Snakebyte is trying to get rid of that annoyance once and for all with a series of new, officially licensed Xbox controllers with Hall effect sensors.

Hall effect sensors are the best sensor type that you can possibly get for a controller's analog sticks. They have been proven to be more accurate and last much longer than sticks that use potentiometers. If you used any first-party controllers from Sony, Microsoft, and especially Nintendo over the past several years, you've been using controllers equipped with potentiometers. These are the ones that are prone to drifting over time.

Snakebyte is not only readying a series of Hall effect equipped controllers, but they all seem to be quite affordable. There most expensive controller coming from Snakebyte will be the Snakebyte Gamepad Pro X at $79.99 (USD). Then there is the Gamepad RGB X at $34.99 and finally the Gamepad Base X at $29.99.

The use of Hall-effect sensors in the new Snakebyteâ„¢ Xbox Licensed Gamepad range aims to eliminate the common issue of stick drift, which can often prove the deciding factor in close combat competitive play. Stick drift with conventional analog sticks is caused by wear-prone potentiometers and mechanical friction. In contrast, Hall-effect sensors operate completely contactless, offering better performance, precision, and a longer lifespan. The Hall-effect sensors are integrated into both the analog sticks and triggers of the new Xbox Licensed Gamepad range.

The new Snakebyte™ Gamepads are not only technologically groundbreaking but also aesthetically appealing, ergonomically designed to cater to the needs and tastes of a wide range of players. With a variety of colors and designs available on the market, gamers can be sure to find a Gamepad that reflects their personal style.
