The goal is to focus on improving the base game more.

Techland shared some unfortunate news today for those waiting for the second big DLC update for Dying Light 2 Stay Human. The studio says that they are delaying the release of the unnamed "DLC2" until some time in 2024.

The studio says that they are deciding to spend more time on development concerns. They are still also working on improving the base game of Dying Light 2. Their main goal is to "ensure that the game meets and exceeds expectations - yours and ours."

This second DLC sounds like it will be quite meaty when it does eventually get released next year. Techland vaguely mentions that it will include a new map and new gameplay systems.

There will be more information about this to share over the next few months, starting with a live steam on June 29. Also, there seems to be a 50% off sale for Dying Light 2 right now. I see it live on Steam, but it might also be available for other platforms too.
