Big Hollywood star Nicolas Cage is coming to Dead by Daylight as a playable character later this summer. No, it's not Cage portraying any one of his numerous film characters or anything like that. It's just the man, the actor, the legend himself being his very Nicolas Cage self as a playable character.
The asymmetrical multiplayer title has had its fair share of guest stars over the years. They've had Survivors and Killers from franchises such as Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Attack on Titan, Nightmare on Elm Street, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, Scream, Hellraiser, and the list goes on and on. But to just have an actor being themself in the game? I do believe that's a new one for Dead by Daylight!
You can certainly make the argument that Cage is a character already, and you probably wouldn't be wrong. Cage will be voicing himself, which you can get a little sample of in a teaser trailer posted earlier today by the Dead by Daylight account. There should be more information revealed about Cage's inclusion in Dead by Daylight on July 5, 2023. Hell, we don't even know yet whether or not Cage will play one of the Survivors or one of the Killers.
