Warner Bros. Games must be pretty happy with how Hogwarts Legacy has sold. As of May 5, Hogwarts Legacy has sold more than 15 million copies and brought in more than $1 billion (USD) in global sales.

These massive sales milestones were achieved just from the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC releases of the game, which happened back on February 10, 2023. Those on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One still wanting to dive into the open-world action-RPG can do so starting today. The old-gen release of Hogwarts Legacy is finally available on those platforms.

It will be interesting to see how the overall performance and visuals of Hogwarts Legacy running on that older hardware given that the game has had its fair share of issues on more powerful systems. It may be safe to assume that the usual suspects will take a look at today's release on the PS4 and XB1 to see how it holds up. The real test may come on July 25th when the Nintendo Switch version is released.
